“ Basic menu. The burger was delicious. Located near the Summers County courthouse. The restraunt probably was part of a historical preservation project with original ceilings and replica bathroom fixtures etc. Has a full bar as well. Kind of has a vibe where attorneys might get together after court for a drink. Family atmosphere as well. ”

“ I enjoyed my experience at the Market very much! It was our first time and it definitely won't be our last. The picture is a Buffalo Chicken Pizza that was prepared in their brick oven. Phenomenal pizza that rivals some of the best that I've had. Highly recommend! ”
“ At the last minute we decided to try and new place while out for a drive. We were passing through Hinton anyway, so stopped at The Market for lunch. What a great place with a lovely vibe and pretty furnishings - be sure and check out the ceiling! The restaurant sells a great variety of local/WV products like maple syrup, jams, a few WV oven mitts, things like that. We also discovered Dick Taylor Chocolate Bars which are made by a very small company in Humboldt County, CA - Eureka - where we are originally from! What a fun surprise! We bought some bags of gourmet, flavored popcorn, a couple chocolate bars, and took home a couple slices of cake for after dinner. (Chocolate and Milky Way - both were amazing!) For lunch we both had the reuben sandwich with beer battered fries - I added lettuce and tomato to mine. These sandwiches were really, REALLY good. Lots of meat and sauce, just the right amount of sauerkraut, and the rye bread was grilled perfectly. The fries were really good too. They offer free refills from their soda and tea area. The staff were very friendly and efficient, and our meal was served quickly. We will definitely eat there again when in Hinton! ”
“ We drove from Richlands Virginia to Sandstone Falls (78 miles one way) and had a late lunch in historic Hinton West Virginia. We ate at the Market on Courthouse Square which was recommended to us and lunch did not disappoint. It’s a beautiful restaurant, large menu variety, and very clean with a great staff. Prices were reasonable, portions large, and the brick oven pizza was the best. Chef Greg was also kind enough to make me a pepperoni roll, which he normally makes for banquets. If you visit Hinton this is the resturant to eat at. ”
“ This is an excellent, friendly restaurant in a nice historic setting. The pizza is cooked in a brick-style pizza oven, and it's a really good crust. I also recommend the Reuben. And the desserts are so good! We had the coconut cream pie and the Nutella cheesecake. There are high quality gluten free alternatives for all sandwiches and pizza. Local beer and cider are also available. ”
“ I think they have changed their pizza recipe in the past few months because I have been coming here for years and don’t remember it being this good. I mean this is absolutely phenomenal. Some of the best pizza I’ve ever had ”
“ Definitely worth a visit! The food was amazing and the indoor decor was beautiful. There was plenty of seating still but we chose to dine outside where sidewalk seating is also available. Best Philly Cheese Steak ever and the fries, just wow! ”
